Provincial Nominee-Skilled Workers-Express Entry

Express Entry is an online system used to manage applications for skilled workers who want to become permanent residents of Canada. It allows eligible candidates to submit a profile to the government of Canada. Top-ranked immigration candidates are then invited to submit an application for permanent residence.

If you want to come to Canada as a skilled immigrant, your first step is to submit your profile to the Express Entry pool.

If you’re eligible, we will:

  • place you in a pool with others who are also eligible

  • give you a score and rank you using several factors

  • invite you to apply to be a permanent resident of Canada (if you’re one of the top candidates)

You can only apply online if we send you an invitation to apply.

Completing an online Express Entry profile or entering the pool doesn’t guarantee that you will be invited to apply for permanent residence.

There are over 150,000 candidates in the Express Entry Candidates pool, this means that getting invited is very difficult.  Gateway Canada knows how to help you stand out among the crowds and give you the highest chances of being invited to apply for Permanent Residence.  This is why we work closely with the provincial governments to secure a Nomination Certificate

To qualify for the Immigrant Partner's component of the PNP- Express Entry Stream, an applicant:

  • must meet the minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLM) 7, all applicants need to take the language test approved by Citizenship and immigration Canada (CIC)

  • must score 67 or more points (out of 100) on the Six Selection Factors – Federal Skilled Workers
